Computational Thinking Challenges

Explore the talents you already have for computational thinking, whether you realize it or not.  During this event, you'll have 20 minutes to complete as many challenges as you can.  The challenges can all be completed without any preparation or studying, just exercise your pattern recognition, algorithm design, data analysis, logic, and abstraction skills.

Example Challenge:

Seven students are in an online social network called Instathink.  Instathink only allows them to see the photos on their own page and on their friends' pages.  In the diagram above, if two students are friends on Instathink they are joined by a line.

After the winter break everybody posts a picture of themselves on all of their friends' pages.

Which student's picture can be seen by the most people?
